This competition will take place on Sunday, June 8th, 2025.
 
This is a Novice (non sanctioned) SBD 3 lift and Push Pull competition. Any person who wishes to compete may enter this event (excluding previous podium finishers).
 
Spectator entry fee is $15 per person, kids under 15 are free.
 
Please note to all competitors and coaches; all competitors will receive an email with event information 12, 2 and 1 weeks out from competition. Please look out for these as ALL information will be on these emails (this may end up in spam).
 
Competitors please share these emails with your coaches when you get them!

We will have 3 placings for this event for both males and females which will be determined based off the Gloss Brenner Equation. There will only be one weight category for this competition and that is 'Open'. The Gloss Brenner Equation considers weight and total lifted for an equal playing ground for all competitors. This is the equation we use for our sanctioned competitions to determine the overall winners. Please see the link below for more of an idea on this equation.

*Please note if you sign up on someone else's behalf and register another person with incorrect details or you enter multiple times with the same account these will be invalid entries. Please sign up under your own name and with your own account.
*If you pay multiple times in a click frenzy and would like a refund from entering multiple times please note there will be a $10 fee. We pay multiple servers to process these payments and information. Accidents will be at the users cost.

Due to the limited spots in the competition, there will be no refunds from 10 weeks out from the day of competition. You may transfer your entry to another competitor - they will need membership with the powerlifting federation if the event is sanctioned.  This policy is to ensure all competitors have the time needed to prepare for the event. 
 If you require a refund and give notice before 10 weeks out, there will be a $10 processing fee as part of this refund.

Information for competitors

Event Information

This is a Novice (non sanctioned) SBD 3 lift and Push/Pull competition.

Any person who wishes to compete may enter this event (excluding previous podium finishers).

Competition Flights

This competition will be split into 4 flights of 15 lifters.

  • 2 flights of 3 lift
  • 2 flights of push/pull

Flight order will be announced on instagram closer to the event.

Photography Information

When purchasing your entry ticket, you can now choose to get a photo pack included with 12 images of your choosing. If you choose not to purchase the photo pack with your ticket, or you want more than the initial 12 images, individual images ($20.00 each) will be available for purchase after the collection is released.

All details to access the full collection will be provided by email.

The professional team at Neil Jose Photography will be capturing all the action throughout the event. With two dedicated photographers working nonstop, providing a full collection of platform shots, as well as behind-the-scenes and pre-lift moments.
